<p>Using emails to increase sales prospecting is a great way to boost branding with little or no cost.</p>
<p>Develop an email campaign that complements your current sales process.  Put together a series of messages that are used at certain stages of your sales process.<strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Such as:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Voicemail one</strong>-leave initial message in marketing plan</p>
<p><strong>Voicemail two</strong>-leave the next message in this series</p>
<p><strong>Email</strong>-Refer to the voicemails and simply ask if there is a good time to call or when can we get together?</p>
<p>With smart phones, many people are responding quicker and more frequently to emails compared to phone calls.</p>
<p>Make sure each of your emails provide your offerings as well as any specials you might have. Provide intent of the conversation you are seeking. If you are looking to do business or stop by to meet with your prospect, mention that in your email.</p>
<p>Adding emails to your current marketing program will provide one more touch to a prospect that could end up in a sale.</p>

For example: Do they need to have an immediate need for your product or service? Are you interested in the number of employees or the size of the company?</p>
<p>Every campaign is going to have those questions that make or break a sale or prospect’s potential. Every sales person has the same amount of time to invest into their daily marketing strategy such as cold calling and setting appointments. Spend positive efforts on those prospects that have a need or interest in your services. Listing the qualifiers that count will eliminate the prospects that will never turn into clients<strong>. </strong></p>
<p>Don’t dismiss prospects that do not have an immediate need for your product or service. If your contact is qualified in other ways, place them on a long term call back for future sales. This would include reading the notes from each and every call made on behalf of your account as well as reviewing the script and the overall progress.</p>
<p>When we start a marketing campaign for a client, we highly recommend that they review the reports daily as they come in to them.</p>
<p>Feedback to the marketing team is very important in the early stages of the program. If you are reviewing the reports and you see an objection that is commonly heard, you might have a better rebuttal or way to handle the call.</p>
