Telemarketing and scripting
The biggest secret to creating a strong viable script for cold calling is brevity. You have a very short period of time to talk with a new prospect – perhaps 15 seconds. During that time, you must quickly relay how your product or service could be valuable to them. Once you have peaked their interest, you can move forward with the process – whether that means further discussion, qualifying questions, or sending information via email or fax.
Scripting must be brief and fit within that 15 second time slot.
